    Nanchang Institute of Technology (NIT), a public university, is located in Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi Province in the east central of China. NIT covers a land area of 136.5 hectares, and owns Yaohu Campus and Pengjiaqiao Campus. NIT boasts beautiful scenery, pleasant environment and excellent educational and teaching resources.
    As a tertiary educational institution, NIT specialises in multidisciplinary education of engineering, management, science, agriculture, liberal arts, economics, fine arts etc., and has distinctive characteristics in the discipline of water conservancy and electric power. With over 19,000 full-time students among which we have 997 postgraduate students, and more than 1500 staff members, NIT proudly offers 57 undergraduate programmes such as Water Conservancy and Hydro-power Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Communication Engineering, E-commerce, Financial Management, International Economy and Trade, Musicology etc., and 13 postgraduate programmes such as Water Conservancy Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, and Management Science and Engineering, Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Forestry, Machinery, Energy and Power, Electronic Information, Business Administration, Applied Statistics, Publication, Art, and MTI(Master of Translation and Interpretation),etc. Moreover, 5 state-level sci-tech research platforms, and 15 provincial-level key laboratories or engineering research centers in NIT facilitate and support its high quality education.  

Overview
    NIT provides both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for international students in fall 2023 (refer to Enrollment Programmes). The duration for postgraduate programmes is 3 years, and that for undergraduate programmes is 4 years. Students who successfully complete all the credits, dissertation and pass thesis defense will be conferred with Graduation Certificate and Degree. The mode of study is full-time.
