HSK level is a key factor to determine whether an applicant is eligible for scholarships.

In general, the minimum application requirement for admission and scholarship is HSK level 4
Some key universities may require higher levels. As for students who apply for English-taught courses, having an HSK certificate will increase their competitiveness in application.
