Jiangxi College of Foreign Studies (JXCFS for short) is affiliated with Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce. It specializes in cultivating talents of foreign languages and foreign trade. There are around 16000 full-time vocational college students and nearly 400 cooperatively-cultivated undergraduates in the college. The college campus covers an area of more than 560 Mus (37.3 hectares) with more than 300 training bases. The college also has high-standard hardware facilities such as multifunctional gymnasium and world-class stadium. Its green coverage rate reaches 42%. Modern information facilities such as campus network, monitoring network and campus smart card are readily available.

Faculties
At present, there are more than 600 full-time faculty members in the college, among who 129 hold secondary senior or above professional titles, 23 have doctor’s degrees. There are 20 foreign teachers, 2 national outstanding teachers, 2 provincial young and middle-aged subject leaders, 3 provincial teaching teams, 3 provincial teaching masters, 13 provincial core teachers in the college.
Talents Cultivation
The college has 1 national excellent resource sharing course, 23 provincial fine resource sharing course, 21 provincial fine online open course, and 9 provincial teaching achievement awards. In the past five years, more than 110 teaching materials have been jointly developed and published by college teachers and related enterprises, our teachers have also presided over or participated in nearly 200 provincial scientific research projects. Our students have participated in all kinds of national and provincial vocational skills competitions and won more than 800 awards, including 82 first prizes of the state and more than 200 provincial awards.
College-Enterprise Cooperation
The college has deepened the integration of production and education and the cooperation of the college and the enterprises. The college-enterprise cooperative industrial park has been established and the Laixin production-study-research Innovation Experimental Zone has been established. Meanwhile, it also has introduced Shanghai Mingxiang Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Sunflower Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd. and other enterprises operating in the college. The operation mode of talent co-education, process co-management, resource sharing, achievement sharing, mode creation, professional co-construction, cultural integration and responsibility sharing has been established.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
The college further promotes the innovation and entrepreneurship education, takes courses, classrooms, training, competitions and results incubation as the main content, constructs the five-in-one education system, builds up the teaching team of the combination inside and outside the college, builds up the university student's entrepreneurship and hatching garden, The integrated practical platform of the model base of Yuechuang and the entrepreneurship employment is to cultivate students' social responsibilities, innovative spirits and practical abilities.
International Cooperation
The college has been actively building the important front to serve the Belt and Road. It has established cooperation with more than 30 colleges and 19 enterprises in foreign countries and regions. The college has sent nearly 1000 teachers and students abroad for study, exchange or post practice. The college has recruited 75 international students from the “Belt and Road” related countries to conduct Chinese Language Program and Diploma Program, achieving the breakthrough of international students education in vocational colleges of Jiangxi. The college also shoulders the responsibility of conducting foreign aid training projects assigned by Ministry of Commerce. We have completed 164 foreign aid training projects in which 4200 foreign officials from 126 countries have participated.
