江苏农林职业技术学院简介
学院概况
学院创建于1923年，91年的历史传承，学院已发展成为以涉农专业为特色的多学科、综合型高等职业技术学院。现为国家首批示范性高职院、江苏省高水平高等职业院校、中国现代农业职教集团牵头单位，具备优异的办学条件和办学实力。
学院坐落于南京东郊、全国优秀旅游城市——江苏省句容市，占地面积6000亩，建筑面积近60万平方米。校园包括一主两区，其中，校本部为主体，位于句容市城区，两区分别为两大实训基地——江苏农博园和江苏茶博园。
专业设置
现设有风景园林学院、农学园艺学院、畜牧兽医学院、茶与食品科技学院、机电工程学院、信息工程学院、经济与人文学院、国际教育学院、马克思主义学院、继续教育学院等9个二级学院，39个专业，在校学生13000余人。
我院始终坚持“农”字特色，围绕农业产业，重点打造农、林、牧等现代农业品牌专业，适度发展了涉农二三产相关专业，形成了门类较为齐全的专业体系。其中，园林技术、林业技术、园艺技术、作物生产技术、畜牧兽医、宠物养护与驯导等六个专业为国家级重点专业。
办学条件
师资队伍。学院现有教职员工700余人，专任教师中副高以上职称人员比例占35%，享受国务院特殊津贴专家3名，国家教学名师3名，国家“万人计划”名师和全国模范教师2名、省级教学名师18人，江苏省茶叶产业技术体系首席专家1人，省“333工程”、“六大人才高峰”、省级以上技能比赛金牌教练105名。拥有国家级教学团队1个，省级教学团队6个，省级科研团队3个。
实验实训。江苏农博园、江苏茶博园两大校内实训基地，核心区面积5000余亩，辐射区10000多亩。建有粮油生产等5个生产性实训教学工场和植物工厂化繁育等6个专业实训中心，建有国家林业和草原长期科研基地、江苏现代园艺工程中心、江苏省杂交水稻工程技术中心等27个研发平台。同时，江苏农博园和江苏茶博园分别是国家级3A级、4A级旅游景区，双双入选首批国家新型职业农民培育示范基地。
实验实训条件完备，是全国职业院校技能大赛农业技能大赛比赛基地，具备承担全国农业技能大赛所有比赛项目条件，已连续承办了六届全国农业职业院校技能大赛。2016年被国家人社部确定为世界技能大赛园艺项目中国集训基地。
科研及社会服务
学校坚持为现代农业产业服务，依托20个省部级以上研发平台，组建9个科技团队，重点开展草业、茶业、种业、彩叶苗木等专题研发。育成农作物、彩叶苗木等新品种37个，研创新技术40多项，授权发明专利697件，获得30多项重大科技成果奖。
学院推广转化了草坪草、彩叶苗木等128项实用新技术，培育了10万名新型职业农民，学院被确立为国家新型职业农民培育示范基地和青年农场主培育基地，连续两年入选全国高职院校服务贡献50强。
国际交流与合作
学院承建中法两国政府层面的中法农业培训与乡村振兴服务中心和中法现代农业科技示范园，双方联合开展农业科技研究、法国高新农业技术推介和新型职业农民培养。
学院为国家首批农业对外合作科技支撑与人才培训基地，面向“一带一路”沿线国家，展示和推广我国现代农业发展的先进理念、模式、经验和技术，开展农业“走出去”人才培养、职业农民培育、淡水渔业等生产技术培训。
与肯尼亚埃格顿大学合作共建中肯现代农业科技示范园。与老挝中老友谊学校共建我院首个海外分校，两校共建中老现代农业科技示范园，成为高职教育综合性产教基地。
2018年，学院招收16个国家的235名全日制留学生在校学习，连续两年荣获高职院校办学国际影响力50强称号。

College profile
Our college was founded in 1923 and with 91 years history, and now our college has developed into a multidisciplinary, comprehensive higher vocational and technical college features on agriculture majors. It is now the first batch of demonstrative higher vocational colleges in China, and titled as “the high-level higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province”, and also take the leadership in organizing China Modern Agricultural Vocational Education Group. It has excellent school conditions and school-running strength.
Our college is located in the eastern suburb of Nanjing, and outstanding tourist city - Jurong City, in Jiangsu Province, covers an area of 6,000 acres, with a construction area of nearly 600,000 square meters. The campus consists of one main and two districts. The main part is located in the urban area of Jurong City. The two districts are respectively two training bases—Jiangsu Agricultural Expo Park and Jiangsu Tea Expo Park.
School majors setting
There are 9 schools in our college, including Landscape Architecture School, Agronomy and Horticultural School, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine School, Tea and Food Science School, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School, Information Engineering School, Economics and Humanities School, International Education School, School of Marxism, and Continuing Education School. There are 39 majors and more than 13,000 students.
Our college has always adhered to the characteristics of "agriculture", persisting in the vocational teaching direction of agriculture, focusing on constructing modern agricultural brand majors such as agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry, and moderately developing the related majors, forming into a relatively complete major system. Among which, gardening technology, forestry technology, horticultural technology, crop production technology, animal husbandry and veterinary, pet conservation and taming and other six majors are all listed as national key majors.
School-running conditions
Teaching teams. There are more than 700 faculty and staff members in the college. The proportion of full-time teachers with associate professor title is more than 35%. Three experts in our college are enjoying national special allowance, and there are 3 teachers achieved the title as national outstanding teachers, 2 teachers are named as the national “Plan of Million Talents” and the national model teachers. There are 18 provincial famous teachers, 1 chief expert of tea industry technology system in Jiangsu Province, and 105 provincial gold medal coaches of “333 Projects” and “Six Peaks of Talents”. Our college has 1 national teaching team, 6 provincial teaching teams and 3 provincial scientific research teams.
Experimental and practical training. Jiangsu Agricultural Expo Park and Jiangsu Tea Expo Park are our training bases, with a core area of more than 5,000 acres and a radiation area of over 10,000 acres. There are 6 professional training centers, such as industrial plant breeding, and 5 production training centers including grain and oil production center. There are also 27 research and development platforms, including the National Forestry and Grassland Long-term Research Base, Jiangsu Modern Horticultural Engineering Center, and Jiangsu Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Center. At the same time, Jiangsu Agricultural Expo Park and Jiangsu Tea Expo Park are national level 3A and 4A tourist scenic spots respectively, and both were selected as the first batch of national new professional farmers cultivation demonstration bases.
Our college is the national vocational college skill competition base for agricultural skill competition, owing to our complete experimental training system. It is fully equipped with all the facilities and conditions to undertake all the national agricultural skill competitions, and has successively hosted the six batches of national agricultural vocational college skill competitions. In 2016, it was identified as the China Training Base for the Horticultural Project in World Skills Competition by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
Research and social services
Our college persists in serving the modern agricultural industry, and established 9 scientific and technological teams, focusing on the research and development of grass, tea, seed industry and colored leaf seedlings, relying on 20 provincial and ministerial level research and development platforms. We have cultivated 37 new varieties such as crops and colored leaf seedlings, researched more than 40 innovative technologies, authorized 697 invention patents, and also won more than 30 major scientific and technological achievements awards.
Our college promoted and transformed 128 practical new technologies such as turfgrass and colored leaf seedlings, and cultivated more than 100,000 new professional farmers. Our college was established as a national new professional farmer training demonstration base and a youth farmer training base, and was listed on the top 50 of service contributors among all the national higher vocational colleges for two consecutive years.
International exchange and cooperation
Our college undertakes the construction of the Sino-French Agricultural Training and Rural Revitalization Service Center and the Sino-French Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park, at the Chinese and French governments level. Both sides jointly carry out agricultural science and technology research, French high-tech agricultural technology promotion and new professional farmers training.
Our college is the first batch of scientific support and talent training base for agricultural foreign cooperation. It is aimed at the countries along the “Belt and Road” to demonstrate and promote the advanced concepts, models, experiences and technologies of modern agricultural development in China, and carry out the “going out” talent training and vocational famers training, freshwater fishery training and trainings on other production technologies.
We cooperate with Egton University in Kenya to build the Sino-Kenya Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstrative Park. The first overseas branch school of our college was co-built with the Lao-China Friendship School. The two schools jointly built the China-Lao Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstrative Park and became a comprehensive production and education base for higher vocational education.
In 2018, our college enrolled 235 full-time international students from 16 countries. At the same time, we won the title of 50 international influences for 2 consecutive years in higher vocational colleges.
