重庆交通大学是一所交通特色鲜明，以工为主，多学科协调发展的教学研究型大学。学校坐落于重庆市，校园环境优美，办学条件优越。设有62个本科专业，涵盖工学、理学、管理学、经济学、文学、艺术学等学科门类，现有4个一级学科博士学位授权点，3个博士后科研流动站，16个一级学科硕士学位授权点。
Chongqing Jiaotong University is a teaching and research university with distinctive traffic characteristics, mainly work-oriented and multi-disciplinary and coordinated development. The school is located in Chongqing, the campus environment is beautiful, the school conditions are superior. With 62 undergraduate majors covering engineering, science, management, economics, literature, art and other disciplines, there are currently 4 first-level discipline doctorate authorization points,3 post-doctoral research mobile stations,16 first-level subject master's degree authorization points.
学科平台（The Discipline Platform）
拥有3个国家级科研平台、34个省部级科研平台、20余个研发机构。先后获国家科技进步奖、国家发明奖12项，省部级科技奖300余项。倡议成立了“一带一路”中波大学联盟，是中俄交通大学联盟核心成员，开办贝宁孔子学院，设有教育部备案的欧洲研究中心、贝宁研究中心，与欧美等海外50多所高校开展交流合作。设有汉语国际教育本科专业和5个全英文专业，是“中国政府奖学金”委托培养院校，面向世界各国招收留学生。
With 3 national research platforms, 34 provincial and ministerial research platforms, more than20 research and development institutions. The school has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the National Invention Award 12 items, the provincial and ministerial science and technology awards more than 300 items. The initiative established the "Belt and Road" Sino-Polish University Alliance, is a core member of the Sino-Russian Jiaotong University Alliance, opened the Confucius Institute in Benin, with the Ministry of Education for the record of the European Research Center, Benin Research Center, and Europe and the United States and other overseas more than 50 universities to carry out exchanges and cooperation. With Chinese international education undergraduate major and 5 all-English majors, is the "Chinese Government Scholarship" commissioned training institutions, for the world to recruit international students.
来华留学发展历史（The History of Studying in China）
我校是重庆市最早开展对外汉语教学的高校之一。2004年开始招收留学生，2009年与贝宁阿波美卡拉维大学共建孔子学院；2010年成立汉语文化培训中心；2012年获批重庆市首个HSK网考考点；2014年开设汉语国际教育本科专业,随后相继开设国际贸易、机电工程、土木工程、旅游管理等全英教学班；2018年获批汉语国际教育硕士专业和企业管理（MBM）硕士专业。已培养来自五大洲20余个国家的留学生千余名，在中资交通与工程类机构、孔子学院（课堂）、中外商贸企业以及文化交流与培训机构，从事翻译、管理、汉语教育、基础建设等工作，深受各单位欢迎和社会肯定。
Our school is one of the earliest universities in Chongqing to carry out teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In 2004, we started recruiting international students, established Confucius Institute series with University of Abomey Calavi in Benin in 2009, established the Chinese Language Culture Training Center. In2010, our school was approved as the first HSK network test site in Chongqing in 2012, opened an undergraduate course in Chinese International Education in 2014, and subsequently opened a whole-wide course in international trade, mechanical and electrical engineering, civil engineering, tourism management and so on. Our school also was approved for Master's degree in Chinese International Education and Master of Business Management (MBM). More than 1,000 international students from more than 20 countries on five continents have been trained, and they are well received by all units and recognized by the community in Chinese-funded transportation and engineering institutions, Confucius Institutes (classrooms), Chinese and foreign business enterprises and cultural exchanges and training institutions.
学科和产学研平台（Discipline and Production Platform）
建有教育部欧洲研究中心和贝宁研究中心，新丝绸之路国际联合研究中心，“一带一路”中国-波兰大学联盟，重庆市高校人文交通众创空间，中国语言文学重点学科，建有汉语文化培训中心。
The European Research Center of the Ministry of Education and the Benin Research Center, the New Silk Road International Joint Research Center, the "Belt and Road" - University Alliance, Chongqing University Humanities and Transportation Space, the Chinese of Chinese and Chinese Literature key disciplines, and the Chinese Language Culture Training Center.
实践基地（Practice Base）
在国内外广泛建立实践基地。国外的如贝宁阿波美卡拉维大学孔子学院实习基地、泰国七所学校建立实习基地，国内的实践基地包括中小学、大学，培训机构及其他如书院。
Extensively established practice bases at home and abroad. Foreign countries such as The Confucius Institute Internship Base at University of Abomey Calavi in Benin, and seven schools in Thailand have established internship bases, including primary and secondary schools, universities, training institutions and other institutions.
合作办学与交流（Cooperation in Running Schools and Exchanges）
美国凯特林大学、美国加州大学伯克利分校、纽约州立石溪大学、英国诺桑比亚大学、英国威尔士卡迪夫大学、英国威尔士爱博瑞斯维斯大学、波兰西里西亚理工大学、泰国马希隆大学等海外高校，与我校有合作办学项目。
我校与贝宁阿波美卡拉维大学的孔子学院紧密合作，提供师资力量。
承办四届“汉语桥”在华留学生汉语大赛重庆赛区比赛，承办国家汉办/孔子学院夏令营，开展中德、中法、中波、中澳汉语文化体验周等活动，深受海外学生欢迎。
Kettering University, University of California, Berkeley, New York State Stony Brook University, North Umsobia University, Cardiff University, England, Wales, England, Eberesweis University, Silesia University of Technology in Poland, Mahilong University in Thailand and other overseas universities, we have a cooperative program.
Our university works closely with the Confucius Institute at University of Abomey Calavi, Benin, to provide teachers.
Hosted the four "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Language Competition in China, hosted the National Hanban / Confucius Institute Summer Camp, carried out Sino-German, Chinese-French, Chinese-Chinese, Sino-Australian Chinese Cultural Experience Week and other activities, popular with overseas students.
