Founded in 1958, Heihe University is located in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, known as the Pearl of the Northern Territory of theMotherland. It is the only ordinary higher education institution in China within 4300 kilometers of the borderbetween China and Russia. The school covers an area of 615,300 square meters, with a total fixed asset value of 431 million yuan. There are currently 844 faculty members and 10919 full-time students.There are 14 secondary colleges and 39 undergraduate programs.There are two nationalcharacteristicmajorconstruction sites and three provincial key majors.In November 2017, it was approved to be the authorized constructioninstitutefor the proposed new master's degree.
