Overview
Boasts of total 11 disciplines, the college has set up 45 majors closely connecting with highways, waterways, logistics, rail and other transportation modes, which formed 9 key majors group including road engineering, automotive applications, construction machinery, logistics management, construction engineering, shipping and maritime, tourism management and others.
The college has 702 full-time faculty members, among whom 398 hold doctoral and master degrees, 139 with senior professional titles and 358 “Double-qualified” teachers. There are 2 experts honored with State Council special allowances, 11 provincial-level academic and technical leaders, 4 provincial-level distinguish teaching teams, more than 30 masters of transportation vocational education, and provincial level vocational education and engineering technical experts. The total enrollment of full-time students is over 15500 and nearly 2000 college and graduate students in adult education.
Strength
The key period of the comprehensive implementation of the “Belt and Road” national initiative, the launch of the construction of a transportation power, and the comprehensive roll-out of Henan’s “Six National Strategies” plan has endowed the college a vast potential for future development. The school has achieved remarkable results in teaching reform, school-enterprise cooperation, and international school running. It consists of 25 specialties at provincial special major, brand demonstration major and pilot majors in teaching reform, all with outstanding brand advantage and distinctive transportation characteristics. School’s excellent teaching resources and abundant teachers’ strength, good social credibility and jointly military-civilian cultivated unobstructed employment channels ensure that the employment rate of school graduates remains above 95% for many years.
