Guizhou Water Conservancy and Hydropower Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public general vocational college established with the approval of the People's Government of Guizhou Province and officially registered by the Ministry of Education. The new campus is located in Guizhou (Qingzhen) Vocational Education City, covering an area of 600 acres and an area of 314,000 square meters.
The college has four major professional groups: water conservancy engineering, electric power engineering, civil engineering, and management engineering.
In recent years, the college has actively responded to the country ’s “Belt and Road” initiative, vigorously promoted international exchanges and cooperation. It recruited international students from Bangladesh, Thailand, Cambodia and other countries to study at the school. The college has successively worked with Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Many universities and colleges have established inter-school cooperation relationships, and organize outstanding students to exchange and study abroad universities every year.
