Profile of Guangxi Vocational and Technical College

Founded in 1965, Guangxi Vocational and Technical College is a Leading National Demonstrative Higher Vocational Institute and one of the first 100 National Pilot Institutes for Modern Apprenticeship. In 2019, the college was selected to the Construction Plan of High-level Vocational Colleges & Specialties with Chinese Characteristics and the Construction Plan of Guangxi High-level Vocational Colleges & Specialties. 

Located in Nanning Airport Economic Zone, the college has more than 17,000 full-time students with 52 majors, covering an area of about 800,000 square meters.

The college has always attached the importance of international exchange and cooperation. In 2016, it took the lead in setting up of the China-ASEAN Border Vocational Education Alliance, which opened a new chapter in vocational and technical education for the ASEAN countries. Every year, hundreds of students from the countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia, come to the college for further study, including full-time education, inter-school exchange, technical training, and Chinese language learning.
