Introduction to SYAU
Situated at the central area of the joining belt linking Shenyang City and Fushun City, adjacent to the south side of Shenyang Tianzhu Mountain and the world cultural heritage---Qing Dynasty’s Fuling Tomb ---and with Shenyang Hunhe River to its south, SYAU covers an area of 10246mu (equivalent to around 683 hectares). Surrounded with tranquil neighborhood, beautiful scenery and profound ecological and cultural environment, SYAU makes an ideal place for teaching, learning and research.
With a sound and complete system for agricultural education and research, currently, SYAU has 6 post-doctor research programs, 72 doctoral programs, 114 master's programs, and 58 undergraduate programs, covering 3 national key disciplines, 3 MOA key disciplines, 6 provincially higher education first-class characteristic disciplines, 27 provincially key disciplines. All the programs come from 16 SYAU colleges and 4 teaching faculties.
To ensure a better environment that enables quality education and research at SYAU, SYAU campus as well as infrastructure has been greatly optimized with pride since 2012, with 17 newly-built functional buildings covering an area of 200,000 square meters and well-equipped world-class teaching and research bases put into use. New outside-campus teaching and research demonstration centers covering an area of 43 hectares in Haicheng, Liaozhong and Zhangwu have been in completion and they have enormously enlarged the development space for SYAU, providing further support and guarantee for developing high-level teaching and research activities, .
